Well Its been a while since I have posted. Too busy working and maintaining the site and playing with my new toys. I have been settling into an new phone. A HTC Android based unit that has dragged me kicking and screaming into the 21st century my kids say. Well it has presented me with some challenges, because it takes picture, has a GPS and internet access. So that meant I should be able to be out in the field or on a run and take pictures and video, track my route to GPX or KML and post to my site and upload all that stuff in real time.
Well as it turned out, all that can be done and ther is a new menu entry up there calles "Latest Images" that will hopefully show random images from the track that are being taken on real time (If Im taking nay of course). The opther part of the puzzle should also be possible by virtue of the fact that the great guys at OziExplorer that make the best moving map software bar none, have ported the mobile/CE version to Android and it's a cracker. In late release beta ATM but I am happyu.
So as the weeks roll on I should be posting more regularly, from the track, with photos and maps. Well that's the plan. See ya's out there!!
